Congrats to Bria on all of her hard work! It was a complete joy to work with Bria. I have been photographing her family for almost 6 years now! Time flies. In just a few days she will be graduating from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (Yes I spelled it out! It was drilled in my head at Freshmen orientation.)

Meet Briana! She is a true beauty. It was such a pleasure to photograph her! The sun was shining bright that day and it was hot & humid but she still brought her A game!
I'm so over summer already! Considering my allergies this year has been the worst. I really love soaking in the sunshine (on not-so hot days) while photographing people and their families. However, I had to pass on that this spring & summer. I've always loved taking pictures of food. My food. His food. The big Thanksgiving dinners my Mother cooks. Desserts. Smoothies. It's something refreshing about pretty food on a clean crisp white plate.
So.... I found my "light", pulled out my camera, tripod, bowls, and plates. Grabbed some fresh fruit I just purchased from the farmers market and started snapping! Here's my final picture. I love it! :)
